The core idea of the project is to bring together diverse musical traditions into a single, flowing expression of our vast and interconnected world. The musicians use a variety of wind instruments: Irish whistles, the Chinese hulusi, Slavic kalyuki (reed pipes), and the Galician gaita (bagpipe). Seamlessly woven into this rich tapestry are Chopin’s waltz performed in the rhythm of bulerías , music from Stravinsky’s ballet infused with elements of contemporary dance, and shamanic vocal tones from the Altai region.
